Policies are traditionally written on a Primary "First Loss" basis covering the repair or replacement of damaged parts following accidental damage or fire whilst competing, testing or qualifying. Coverage can either be arranged on a race-by-race basis or as part of a seasonal package dependant on the requirement of the individual client.

Policies can be arranged to cover the full value of vehicles, either by offering an excess layer of accidental damage and fire, or as is more typically the case and to keep the costs to the client down, by offering a catastrophe protection layer up to the full sum insured for the perils of fire or fire following accident above the primary layer.

This coverage is offered to racers or teams in where the majority of the races take places on traditional "Road Courses" or Street Circuits

The Off Course and Storage program is designed to protect competition vehicles from physical damage losses due to fire, theft, trailer upset or comprehensive losses and for most other physical damage claims that might occur while the vehicle is not operating under its own power. Other items that can be covered are the trailer, spare parts, major tools and equipment.

This program offers "all perils" physical damage protection (subject to policy terms and conditions) and is in effect whenever the insured property is stored, transported to and from events and while it is in the paddock and garage areas. Please note that coverage is excluded for on-track physical damage or while the scheduled competition vehicle is under its own power.

Whenever you, your driver or vehicle are exposed to the public, there is the possibility of financial disaster through a lawsuit. Motorsports racing is a complex and thrilling business, but one with inherent risk. Don't let being associated with motorsports cost you everything due to lack of insurance protection. CCR Motorsports Insurance offers the Racing Owners and Sponsors liability program to provide you with your own liability policy contingent of the race event liability policy. This covers losses where the facility's or sanctioning body's insurance limits are insufficient for possible claims in which the owners and/or sponsors are named.

Coverage can include Spectator Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Personal and Advertising Injury and Participant Legal Liability, with options to include the drivers as a covered party.

Sean Schwartz has over 15 years experience as an underwriter and sales executive in the motorsports community. He is licensed in Life/Health/Property and Casualty with an in-depth knowledge of selling and underwriting property, general liability, auto, workers’ compensation, excess liability, inland marine, on track liability, on track physical damage, employers practices liability, disability and medical insurance.

Mr. Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University and is also seeking his CPCU designation.
